Details
Submitted by[?]: Pars Militum Petulantia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4323
Description[?]:
Along with our move to restore an Imperator in Selucia, we will also be moving to strengthen the military. We call for the return of mandatory national service which will see Selucia take steps to becoming a true military superpower. However, we now wish to create an alternative to military service, civilian national service. Upon completion of schooling all adults must now serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of national service, at their option. With the addition of a lesser paid term of civilian national service as an alternative to military service, we also look to change the current policy on conscientous objectors. Conscientous objects may be exempted from combatant roles in the military, and will instead have to serve a lesser paid term of civilian national service. In order to maintain order, we also want our police forces to work more closely with the military. If any issues arise, they must be handled quickly and decisevily, we believe that with the military backing the police force we will be able to do so more efficiently then with the current policy on the separation of the police and the military. |

Message | We are dissapointed to see In Marea’s comparison between Pars Militum Petulantia and the Fascist Regimen Immutata. We are a militarist party so our demand for a stronger military should come as no surprise. Our policies may have some similarities, but to us it is an insult to make the suggestion that there is no difference between our current party and the past. The biggest and most significant difference would be that we to embrace all the different cultures within our beautiful nation. This means that we accept everyone’s differences and beliefs. We no longer persecute the Yeudi ethnic minority. We stand for the advancement and empowerment of Selucia's military as well as a capitalist laissez-faire economic system which will allow Selucia to thrive on the international stage, turning Selucia into a Majatran superpower to be recognized throughout Terra. We believe the steps taken by the passing of this bill would be the initial steps to a better Selucia. “Non sibi sed patriae” Antonius Tatius Cnaeus Gaius Consul of Selucia Pars Militum Petulantia |

Message | Embracing different cultures while trying to make everyone a Hosian-we see. Also you want to end with the independence of the police and the military, therefore the Government can have the control of the nation at any time. And the most obvious one: allowing paramilitaries. It is a surprise that the Government has not said a word about that law, while defending the other Articles. Because there are no arguments to defend such a proposal. Message | We have absolutely not forced Hosianism upon anyone. As the dominant religion in Selucia we believe it deserves a place alongside the government as the state religion. Paramilitaries will only strengthen our military power. The government will heavily regulate these paramilataries to make sure they do not gain too much power and attempt to unjustly interfere. |
