| Let it be known and understood by all interested parties within and outside of Solentia that a bill by the name of, 'RP-law: Border Wall Act' was introduced twice in relatively short succession for voting to our Senate. In April 4321 the original Bill was defeated. In November 4322 the Bill had passed. These circumstances may have contributed to confusion about whether or not this Bill had actually passed a vote. One of Solentia's parties abstained during the second vote, and if they had voted the same way they did during the first vote, the Bill would not have passed. The introducer of the Bills and majority voter in favor of the Bills has once again forfeited their seats in the current Senate and at the time of writing are not eligible to win seats in upcoming elections. They are no longer with us. Again. Construction of the wall has not yet begun and we would be shocked to see it commence as written, as I do not believe it is the true intention of this Senate as currently comprised to follow through with such legislation, and a majority is expected to be in favor of repealing the legislation that passed. To reiterate: A wall has not been built, and the driving force behind it is gone. Other countries may wish to prepare for war with us and take firm stances, of which is perfectly reasonable and understandable, however they may consider that the Senate which remains in Solentia is generally reasonable and looking forward to repairing many legislative messes. Our will will see them undone. With that in mind, our neighbors may wish to see their resources wisely spent for their own interests, or they may understandably not. That is up to them. In consideration, WE the PEOPLE and SENATE of Solentia hereby RESOLVE to repeal, "RP-law: Border Wall Act" (of November 4322) before its construction begins.
