Bill: “Loyalty, Peace, Prosperity!”

Details

Submitted by[?]: Peace and Prosperity Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4326

Description[?]:

Our current motto, “Solidarity, Loyalty, Honour!” seems almost militaristic and authoritarian. It is a far cry from present day Kalistan, released from the close grasp of the National Unity Party.

We still believe in the principal of loyalty to one’s country. However, we have moved from the aggressive foreign policy sported by the National Unity Party, causing such grievances with our allies, and towards being a more peaceful, outward looking Kalistan. We want our country to prosper, with new industries and old, so the third word seems fitting.

MessageThe current slogan is not “militaristic” at all. Sure the current government doesn’t have the same foreign policy as the last but does that mean we should change the slogan? No of course not.
The slogan can mean many things, but it isn’t and should not be political, it should represent the character and nature of our people as loyal and brave. The current slogan also sounds significantly better than the proposed one.
