Message | If we redistribute land, there is no need to keep funding small producers as they do not have to compete with large estates. We could instead spend the remaining money on ecologically friendly crops for the benefit of environment. |

Message | We support article 1 of this bill, but article two we fear will reduce efficiency, so we have decided to abstain |

Message | Article 2 is not even democratic. It is the main part of communism. Destruction of private enterprises and appointment of its people to the board of directors of a public enterprise. We wish FLPV will be active and will ruin your plan. |

Message | May I ask where do we talk about appointing people to the board of directors of public enterprises on this bill? Large estates have already destroyed free competition and private property of small producers. The lack of free competition and the incapacity of small farmers to produce or to sustain themselves will lead to a greater rural-urban migration and agricultural stagnation. OOC: Jorge Alessandri RodrÃguez drafted the first bill for a Chilean land reform in 1962. The Christian Democrat government of Eduardo Frei Montalva decided to accelerate and extend the Agrarian Reform in 1965, being pressured by agricultural stagnation and the demands of small producers. None of them were communists. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
