Bill: Discussion: what about cultural protocols?
Details
Submitted by[?]: Grand Nationalist Fraction
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4791
Description[?]:
Dear fellow players, I feel the need to ask you whether or not you feel the urge to create a certain CP. Please keep in mind that we are considered an open nation on CP, and that there are certain restrictions on creating these protocols. We could also just add some information in a bill with certain vital or important information on our nation and the way things should be done around here. Just to be sure that we don't change half of the legislation every decade or so. What are your thoughts? What should certainly be added to such a bill? Please, fire away! M13 |

Message | I am assuming this is OOC since you put M13, so running with that assumption, I don't know enough about this subject to give an awnser |

Message | For the record: it is an OOC conversation. And everyone knows some things about Lodamun. Let's consider this a forum. We can all react to anyone's reaction in a nice and civil way. |

Message | OOC: Are all of you ok with stating that Lodamun is a nation which is culturally ad ethnically open? The Republic has always welcomed people from around Terra. Eventhough there might be or might have been certain quota, the main condition for one to move to Lodamun was the will to contribute to the happiness and welfare of the nation. |

Message | OOC: As a player currently in Valruzia I highly recommend and encourage all players in Lodamun to debate on the creation of a cultural protocol for Lodamun as it would only increase the quality of the gameplay and secure the existing gameplay from undesirable events (e.g. without CP even if Lodamun is primarily based on countries from the anglosphere nothing bars other players from coming to Lodamun and playing as let's say Chinese-based party). In Valruzia we've adopted Cultural Protocol which based the country on real-life Poland and it gives tons of possibilities to make an interesting, sustainable RP which increases the quality of the gameplay. I recommend debating on the choice of the real-life country, or countries (it can be an interesting combination), but you have to keep in mind that the change cannot be drastic and current gameplay should be included in the process. Lodamun according to the currency rankings has the strongest currency in Terra, so logically, if compared with the real life, combination of the United Kingdom with something would be interesting (but Luthori is the in-game version of the UK), or combination of Australia and some Asian state. I really recommend that and encourage you to continue the debate. Cheers, Masionette11. |

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election. |
