Bill: Cabinet Proposal of July 4329

Details

Submitted by[?]: Scientian Enclave

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4330

Description[?]:

We have decided to take extra positions such as Foreign Affairs and Finance to aid us in conducting financial and political reforms. Should the Republicans wish to join us in a cabinet, we are open to their cooperation in the future. We understand some of our reforms may put a strain on the Minister of Defence, but we are confident with their experience that they will function adequately.

As long as the Local Military Act remains on the docket, we will not vote in favor of this Coalition and would rather sit in Opposition.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
