Message | His Grace is sympathetic to most of the proposals in this Bill. Percy Waterman (Personal Secretary to the Grand Duke of Hikirena) |
Date | 01:00:21, March 03, 2006 CET | From | Communist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Return to the Right |
Message | We have no seats, but we can still voice our unmovable opposition to this bill, which goes against our very principles. We hope that the leftist parties who do have seats will vote no to help stop this assault on progressivism. |
Date | 01:12:20, March 03, 2006 CET | From | Progressive Conservatives | To | Debating the Return to the Right |
Message | We protest the fact that the Republican Party has introduced a piece of legislation with so many completely unrelated articles. We realize that the Republican Party is new to Aldegar politics, so we're willing to overlook this; however, for future reference, if the Republican Party wishes to get anything passed or to improve its own popularity, it should consider separating unrelated articles into different bills. |

Message | We disagree with the Progressive Conservatives here. While this is hardly the best tactic to get a bill passed, it does raise the visability of a new party which is often the trickiest part of the game. And all the proposals are linked vaguely by pushing a strong capitalist agenda, though not much more than that. |

Message | Re: ALP By "popularity" we were refering to the Republican Party's popularity with other political parties, not the people. We agree that this helps the RP raise its visibility fast, but it is hardly fair to any of the other parties. And, as you said, these articles are only 'vaguely' linked. We think even that may be an overstatement. |
