| It's time again that Rildanor rethink its position on abortion. The current one demands that mothers have children and gives them no recourse to prevent unwanted children. It's a restrictive policy created by the prejudices of a male dominated society. Legalizing first term abortions will only allow women the opportunity to abort their pregnancy in the earliest stages. This is quite reasonable. Banning abortion only means that it is done in secret and in horrible conditions. This is wrong, and goes against the principle of legalizing to control. While abortion is a lamentable recourse, it can not be made illegal without severely risking the safety and well-being of both mother and child. |
