Voting deadline: April 4331
Description[?]:
National Assembly Members, Our media laws are in significant need of reform in some areas, particularly in regards to what can be published or broadcast. I am particularly concerned about what constitutes hate speech and how consecutive governments could use this to place a ban on criticism they do not like even if it is valid. I would prefer a broad catch-all law which simply prevents false information being published. Zlatan Temelkido Chief Minister of Zardugal |

Message | We in the SPR agree with this bill. But we do not think it goes far enough. We should not limit speech at all, because who determines what is the truth and what are lies or falsehoods? If you are against the crackdown on hate speech, why are you not against the crackdown on free speech? The SPR shall propose an alternative to this bill to make sure free speech is allowed in our nation. --- Dedius Fenikso II |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
