| Message | Corporation tax is not the solution but having a regressive dependent tax system, is by far the most stupid reason to abolish income tax. Also the FNB income tax bill doesn't abolish it, therefore this bill is only targeted towards the lower income. Hurting the already hurt will not do anything but keep them as a huge burden on our nation. The FMPE supports minimizing the income tax brackets but cannot support raising sales tax. |

| Message | The income tax cannot be abolished in one go, but will be abolished over time. So far the FNB and the Conservatives were able to shift the tax burden from direct to indirect taxtation in a considerable amount. The FMPE is not ready to take uncomfortable decisions for the good of the nation and threfore will never be seen as reliable coalition partner by the FNB. Berger |
