Bill: Cabinet Suggestion Reform Act of 4335
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Democrat Union
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4336
Description[?]:
Members, Only the largest party of our legislative chamber should be allowed to propose cabinet suggestions. This is to safeguard democracy in our nation. It is all too often with coalitions (comprising that of small parties) that they do crumble quickly. That is because there are more parties in a coalition arrangement, more disagreements (because each party is independent) thereby inviting an inevitable failure of government. If we do not like the results that the electorate has provided and with all our hard work and willingness to overcome our differences, we cannot find a sustainable coalition agreement; then we must go back to the ballot box. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The constitutional right and responsibility to propose a cabinet to the legislature.
Old value:: Each party can propose a cabinet coalition.
Current: Only the largest party can propose a cabinet.
