Voting deadline: February 4341

MessageIf a minor under the age of 18 desires a steady source of employment with a decent wage then let it be. There is no reason as to why we should regulation the market and force it to bend to our will under the guise of safety.

MessageThis act doesn't outlaw child labor, it just ensures that child workers are not forced into positions/responsibilities that are beyond their means. We are in no way attempting to bend the market to our will; we are merely helping companies to acknowledge and respect the natural limitations of their youngest workers.

Children (and by "Children" I mean people 12 and under) are unable to do many things adults can do, such a carry heavy weights or operate complex/dangerous machinery. Since such children are prepubescent, they are also lacking mental development in a few key areas... As such, it's pointless to hold them accountable for certain tasks (like setting payroll or enforcing certain supervisory roles).
