MessageIncreasing a number of seats is not wrong, but it should be followed by some reforms that matters more.

Messagei feel this would be far more represenative of the nation with its current population. It would also help under represented tribes in our country to be more represented. Also with the current set up for example firestations being run on a national level, we should have a larger government for our country to be run effectively in a more representative manner.

MessageWhy can't we keep it here? If we go with more people, that'll just mean a bigger government with even more red tape.

Messageonly when the government can cope with the running of the country and has the capability to deal with its issue. The proposed government would keep the government small but enable us to succesfully govern over the people who give us the mandate. As it is we are one of the biggest countries in the world with one of the smallest governments. It makes it very hard for us to succesfully do our job properly.

MessageWe should naturally have percentagewise so many seats that the people are given a good, almost optimal, representtation.

MessageActually, we've been doing our jobs effectively. If we institute a big government in this nation then we'll become unefficient.

MessageSCP : yep

RP : yes but our populaion is growing and there is a danger of the people being under-represented. A government that is too small can't to the job it is required to do. We are in favour of a small efficient government and this ensures that, especially when you compare our government size with most foreign nations.

MessageCould we not change the electionary system instead ? To change the election system from our current to
Equal representation, regardless of region population. So that no matter where you live, if you live in Morata Valley or somewhere else, your vote is Equal to that of the entire nation. IF you wish to change so much that to make it the optimal representation of the People, that is the way. But if you wish to have it the optimal representation of our nation as a federation the old system should naturally remain. And then the seat increase might be better.

MessageWe don't want to loose the link between the representatives and the people and believe the seat increase will help fairer representation for the people. moving to vote.
