If we cannot maintain our current military due to a decreased budget, we will be forced to reduce its size and put our nation's defence at risk. With respect to our international responsibilities, the Federal Republic ensures the independence and security of many nations, but not defending and supporting our allies, we hurt the alliances we have formed and thus we hurt the future security of our country.
