Description[?]:
Nadir Hariri, Vice-Leader of LP: "Mr Speaker, for almost two centuries Istalia was known for its business-friendly economy and politics, with great benefits for Istalia. To impose the current limit to the foreign investment cannot but affect negatively the attractiveness of our nation which if want invest a lot abroad it should also accept investment from abroad and attract them. There are no reason to maintain the current limits! A company in Istalia, independently by its owners, have to pay taxes here in Istalia, otherways it would be not an istalian company, very simple. So, why limit the investment? We should really reverse this recent decision. Thank you" |

Message | Bea Grande, Whip of the PLI: Mr. speaker, we believe that to preserve our industries investors should not achieve the majority share, we fear that once the majority is acquired, investors decide to relocate in their states. Without further guarantees that there will be more advantages than disadvantages, the PLI is inclined to vote no. Thank you. |
