Message | Istalian Ambassador in Solentia: "To the Government of Solentia and its elected representative, my Government asked to me to send you a message to invite Solentia not to go further with its isolation policies and to put an end to such draconian measures. My Government asked me to be the most frank possibile: here the situation is simple: Solentia, as well as other nations like Dankuk or Klavia Okeano, has been signalated for its military development programs, especially the ones concerning chemical weapons. It is quite obvious that the international community express concerns for such programs, they involve weapons which can cause numberous death and veritable humanitarian tragedy if employed, against military personnel as well as against civilans. Each nation of this world is not alone, any measure adopted by a nation could unleash the reaction of this or that nation, especially when they are measure in the field of the weaponery, the warfare and the defence. Any Government of this world has responsabilities toward the international community, it is unevitable, especially, I say again, when we are talking about armaments which are thought to be used against third nations forces or civilians. We are not saying that it is sure that Solentia will use these armaments against third nations, but nobody can exclude such eventuality. So, it is quite normal that the international community express concerns on the topic. In simple world: if you don't want that the world comes to knock to your door, don't take measure which, also only virtually, could seriously harm third nations. Furthermore, this measure, can only but increase the hostily and the concerns of the international community for Solentia which if will proceed with this measure will risk to be seriously marginalized and indeed put under strict sorveillance of third nations. Instead, allowing an ispection of the World Congress, led by member nations of the WC, I think would greatly appease the situation. it would tranquilize maybe the international community showing and explaining the programs and the solentian plans about such weapons. A cooperative stance by part of Solentia could only but avoid further worsening of the situation and of the demands from the international community. A cooperative stance could only remove possible concerns and distrust! It is true, it lay in the hand of the single nations to decide if develope and/or use chemical and biological weapons, but this could be achieved either towards an international community ready to cut any relations with Solentia and to impose sanctions, aither towards an international community with which Solentia agree to cooperate to show that there are not malicious intents. We hope the legislators of Solentia and its Government will take the path of the dialogue and of the cooperation, to avoid useless arm wrestling and tensions increasing. Respectfully, Istalian Ambassador in Solentia |
