Mr Speaker,

There are reports that the Orderist faith, which blends Hosian belief with ancient Augustan mythology, has spread to the southern borderlands of our country.
OOC: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=560907

There is a connection with the infamous Thaller family, with Vilhelmo-Fenisko Thaller being both Prince of the Augustans and Head of the Orderist Church. There is some talk about members of this faith being persecuted as heretics and fleeing to less populous areas.

Given the situation and given the links to the Thaller family, I ask what action we should take:

Should we:

- Recognise the religion?
- Actively seek out people who believe in this faith?
- Investigate further the links with the Thaller family who we know would dearly love to get a foothold in Vanuku?
- Or speak to the Zardic government to try and stop the further expansion of the faith into our country?

I await responses.

MessageThis heresy is a threat to Vanuku. Not only is it an attack on our religion, but also a tool for a foreign agenda to take over our country. We should do everything we can to stop the Orderism from spreading across the Vanuku - and we should expect Zardugal to do the same thing.

MessageKáheheijkai Hdrinsrmko Kwkh, the so-called "Highest Servant" calling peaceful Orderist believers heretics. This isn't surprising coming from an autocratic dictator.

I believe, as many outside Vanuku do, that Holy Army is a threat to the stability of the new Republic. Orderist oppression in the States of Mkldrekrnék and Skalkárak are only one problem that the Holy Army presents in these regions.

The Zardic Ministry of Defense and Zardic Ministry of Foreign Affairs will convene to see what actions our government will take if the Republic is seen as too unstable.

MessageWe would remind the Zardic Minister of Defence that this is at the debate stage. Nothing has been resolved and no decision reached. The threat of action is not necessary and we will inform his government of our decision when we have reached one.

MessageOOC: whether or not orderism, which has spread from Zardugal, is a recognised religion in our country like hosianism or ahmadism is. If it is not recognised it will likely be clamped down on by the government as a cult, taxed heavily or banned completely depending on the other religious laws.

MessageOOC: Ah okay thanks for the expanation.

IC: The Noble Party believes all citizens have a right to freedom of religion, and recognizes the Orderist faith as a religion within Vanuku. While religious freedoms are inalienable rights and should not be violated, the moment we believe Orderism to be a threat to Vanuku’s national security we will call for the religion to be shut down within Vanuku’s borders and take it with utmost seriousness as we would with any threat to the wellbeing of our great and powerfull nation.
