| Upon the passage of this Act, higher education within Kanjor shall be shifted toward private non-profit institutions. ₭5 billion shall be cut from Higher Education funding for the first year. To be followed by a total an additional ₭5 billion over the subsequent two years. Article I: The Government of Kanjor, the Senate, and the Ministry of Education shall be given oversight and regulatory abilities over the institutions of higher learning regardless of their status. All private higher education institutions shall be and remain non-profit. Article II: The Government of Kanjor and the Senate shall pay 4/5 of tuition fees for students with the rest being paid for by students. Local or State governments may also contribute their own funding toward tuition fees for the institutions within their State. |
