MessageSilvia Rossi, PNI Speaker for Finance,

The no tax zone is minimal, but not to sound hypocritical as we would have said the same, our main motivation behind the proposal was the fact that all members of society ought to contribute to its infrastructure. Obviously the rich carry a larger burden, but that does not allow some people to not contribute. Especially as they are more likely to use public services than the rich.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.
