Message | We will repeal the state religion law and we will also repeal the authoritarian blasphemy law, which has seen 2 comedians sued over blasphemy because one made a joke about Ahmadi women not speaking in public, and another made a skit on the Comedy Network about Bishopals vs. Aurorians |
Date | 06:59:23, March 12, 2018 CET | From | Hosian People’s Party | To | Debating the Secular Mordusia Act 4361 |
Message | Articles 4 and 5 are absolutely unacceptable, we agreed to remove state religion and blasphemy laws and oppose the UDP's current proposal and we will. That being said, we cannot allow this atrocity to pass. |
Date | 10:41:13, March 12, 2018 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Secular Mordusia Act 4361 |
Message | Part of the coalition deal was a free vote on secularizing Mordusia. And churches have lots of money and we are running a huge deficit. We need to bring in revenue however we can. Let's not be ideological about common sense reforms, ok? |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
