Bill: Social Justice
Details
Submitted by[?]: Nuova Unione
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 4369
Description[?]:
Sahla Sabbagh, ULD We, as exponents of the more... bright wing of the ULD, know what is good for the nation. And that is Social Justice; but not what the leftists call Social Justice, no. Social Justice as in literal justice, lack of bounds and nonsense, lack of support for those that don't work for the wellbeing of our nation. Social Justice means that we help those that achieved something, and those that have proven that they deserve to be among the ones that have lighter taxes. We need justice in this country, and we will deliver it. |

Message | You're istalians like us, sure, but the Liberal Democrats represent a particular category of istalians: the exploiters. No wonder that you call us "anti-istalians", you have so much to lose. |

Message | Giacomo Tancredi, Spokerperson of AR: "Mr Speaker, Obviously we are against this proposal, which is all but related to social justice. But let me also deplore Hon. Sabbath for her recent statement as well as the ingenuity. If there are some who exploit, there are also the ones who the former exploit. But... Apart this... How glorify the man who exploits his own kind?" |

Message | Sahla Sabbagh, ULD Chairperson Mr Tancredi, let me explain you, as you have clearly not understood; A society comprising of exploiters only is also a society comprising entirely of exploitees. What I've said is that in an ideal world, everyone would have their own business, maybe a family business, aside from their, let's call it regular job, for some it may be their only job; what I mean is that every person has their brand, something to offer. In a situation in which that really is the entirety, means that economic freedom must foremost prevail. It is also a society where everyone has a decent standard of living, due to the fact that they are also, as you've said, exploiters and employers of someone else, and so on, and so on, creating a wheel. In that wheel, innovation and intelligence are the most important, and that the economic freedom of their neighbour is as important as theirs, because he generates income for someone else, while other people generate the income for him, and so on. |

Message | TIno Bertolini, General Secretary of the PUP "Madam Chairperson, I do not understand how this will work. In the data above, the top six brackets do not provide any income whatsoever! How can this taxation plan work if the top brackets do not pay anything at all!" |

Message | OOC: Like, let's pretend that they would because the game mechanics disallow it, and obv. It would result in some money |
