Bill: Republican Motherhood

Details

Submitted by[?]: Factio Republicana Socialistica

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 4369

Description[?]:

Quirites,

A woman's main duty is to raise and educate virtuous citizens who can serve the Republic and commit themselves to the common good. While we fully support gender equality, we believe that the Republic has recently adopted a number of policies that only protect women in the public sphere. However as we all know the personal is political. The Republic does not begin with a Constitution and public laws, the Republic starts at home. For that reason the Republican Party proposes that the Republic commit all possible resources to promoting and empowering Republican mothers and Republican families, and the education of the sons and daughters of the Republic in civic virtues, beginning at home and continuing in the public sphere.
