| Honourable members of the Chamber, The Istalian labour market is being flooded by low-paid economic migrant who leave unemployed Istalian citizens bite the dust under unfair labour circumstances. To prevent this, we propose the division of the labour market into the following two categories: Category 1 or CAT-1 People with an Istalian passport who are able and willing to work a full-time job; Category 2 or CAT-2 - People who have possesed an Istalian passport in the last three years, or have a residence permit - People who cannot work a fulltime job, and choose to do a part-time job. - People who are not able to take all jobs due to physical problems. We would like to see hiring policies being favoured to CAT-1 job seekers instead of CAT-2 seekers, since CAT-2 seekers are either not willing to work full-time or flood the market by asking a wage way to low, so CAT-1 seekers become unemployed. Together, we can fight for the economic position of the people of Istalia instead of letting economic migrants take over and leaving unemployed OUR citizens who pay taxes and vote. | Message | Rania Samara, IpT Party Leader: Mr. Merzhut, This law is contradictory. Positive Discrimination favors minorities in the hiring process, while you propose to do the opposite. Also, why put the infirm in Category two? Many great scientists and entrepreneurs have been physically disabled, and yet they have been able to do great things. |
