Bill: Protection of the Welfare & Dignity of the Child Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Movement

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4388

Description[?]:

Yeudis (OOC: Jews) and Ahmadis (OOC: Muslims) practice the cruel and brutal ritual of circumcision upon boys. It is time for us to ban this heinous and degrading practice.

Let adults get circumcisions for religious reasons if they want to do so, but so far as children are concerned, circumcision should only be performed when it is medically necessary.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "Remember that government doesn't earn one single dollar it spends. In order for you to get money from the government, that money must first be taken from somebody else." - Governor Jesse Ventura
