Message | UFOB Would agree if the proposed change to Article 1 would be "The death penalty is not applied, except for terrorism, treason and crimes against mankind." |
Date | 19:00:58, May 17, 2018 CET | From | Liberty Party | To | Debating the Death Penalty Bill |
Message | As the UFOB support the death penalty Liberty would like to ask the UFOB if capital crimes could not be considered "crimes against mankind"? If not, why not? It seems like a splitting of hairs for the purposes of this bill. Liberty supports the death penalty. Make it swift, don't prolong the agony for anyone involved and let the guilty meet their maker. May God have mercy on them. |

Message | Sorry, for the late reply on the issue. UFOB, believe that putting the Death Penalty on too many crimes could lead to people being wrongly euthanized and crimes such as terrorism & treason can pose a bigger threat worldwide. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
