Old value:: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.
Current: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.

| Message | Mr Speaker, Outlawing firearms completely is unfair to those who handle their firearms safely and do not use them to harm others. The security measures in place are sufficient. These types of tragedies are very rare and while we send our deepest condolences to the victims' loved ones, we cannot support this.
