Message | Mr. Speaker, The GNP believes in protecting the environment, this seems like a step back. While Article 2 is acceptable, Article 1 is not. Vanuku must remain at the forefront of reducing polution, as one of the most advanced states in the world we are an example! Do we want another global cooling? Or more severe global cooling? I say we do not! I look forward to what the Count Zhtál has to say. Duchess Mri Anzlék Minister of Internal Affairs Secretary-General of the GNP |

Message | Mr Speaker, Clearly I am not proposing to spark an environmental catastrophe such as a global cooling and would certainly see the need for highly restrictive pollution standards to be introduced in many of Terra's less advanced nations and sensible restrictions everywhere. However, our economy despite being at a highly advanced stage, still has a large heavy industry and manufacturing sector. This is partly due to our magnificent military output and continual push to produce new vehicles, aircrafts, ships and equipment, and partly due to our burgeoning domestic goods market. And while these firms have done much over the years to bring in new pollution-busting technology, they are still finding the heavy restrictions are hampering their production capacity to an extent. Moderate restrictions would allow them to be much more efficient. We cannot have it both ways, Mr Speaker! We have protectionist tariffs and quotas on imports to ensure people buy domestic goods but then hamper our manufacturers with overburdening regulations when they try to match the demand for these goods. It means they cannot achieve optimum supply potential and, for consumers, prices are driven up. Count Brnó Sigzmasrmko Zhtál Trade and Industry Minister |

Message | Mr Speaker, It is clear we cannot hope to persuade the Communists to compromise by even one centimetre given their recent comments regarding the succession law, so we shall not try. I will, therefore, move this to vote and hope enough Grand Councillors see what I am trying to achieve for our private companies and share my opinion. Message | scandalous government behavior has no limits! capitalists and their unclean interests are more important than protecting the environment! I am demanding the resignation of this government and the creation of a new government with my party running for the elections in 5 months, the governments of the grand coalition are irresponsible and think only about winning elections for 6 years and not for the good of future generations like us. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The Communists are trying to hijack this debate simply to justify yet another call for an early election. They have no real conviction to protect the environment, I suspect. Their only interest is to attempt to gain more seats at any opportunity with no regard for the constitution. Count Brnó Sigzmasrmko Zhtál Trade and Industry Minister |

Message | your rule has been going on for too long. I just want the big coalition to lose power because it does not count with the natural environment, the right of the opposition simply. |
