Bill: Modernization Of The Justice System Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: 人民党 (People’s Party)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4410
Description[?]:
It is time we modernized our archaic Justice system. We do not have a DNA database to help capture criminals. We should only extradite people if we are assured the death penalty will not be applied. Sekowo doesn’t even have a professional police department instead relying on private enterprise to fulfil the duties of law and order. Plus much much more. It is time we revamped our justice system for the modern age. |

Message | We would like to see death penalty abolished, not just public executions, but article 8 already means progress. On article 3 we would like to have gated communities banned. On article 5 we think it should go further. There should be no parliamentary privilege. However as in the case of article 8, those 2 articles also mean progress. If the People's Party would agree to go even further on those articles or at least one or two of them, we would appreciate. Thank you! Saki Hamasaki, Spokesperson of 変化する (Change) |

Message | “After much consideration from my colleagues, we have decided that we are willing to go further on Article 3. Which as per you requested was amended to ban all gated communities, instead of just restricting the government from making them. This is going to cause the rich elite in Sekowo some inconvenience I am sure, but they can afford to be inconvenienced.” -Shima Rin |
