Message | Incest, while certainly disturbing, is a private matter. We shouldn't normalize it, but we shouldn't prosecute people who engage in it, which is a waste of police time - Francine Jones |

Message | Due to the presence of more cons than pros, we shall vote against this bill. Too many things we disagree with, aside from the adultery proposal. |

Message | Not sure what is “progressive” about commodifying women’s bodies, or about restricting religious freedoms, or, indeed, about cutting back on police patrols. The police are there to protect the public, as long as the wearing of religious headwear or necklaces does not inhibit this function we see no problem. As for incestous relationships, they are not about love, but about hierarchy, power and control. This is a bad bill for women and a bad bill for religious freedom. We shall vote No. Oliver Yorke, Leader of Alternative Future |

Message | Mr. Speaker, I shall address some of the right honourable gentleman's questions, On the issue of surrogacy, if the baby isn't harmed and both the mother and prospective parents are mentally stable, I see no problem with, as Mr. Yorke put it, commodifying women's bodies On the issue of religious clothing, and I'm speaking as a Hosian Bishopal woman here, if public servants are not allowed to wear hats or other frivolous clothing items, then we shouldn't treat religious clothing differently On the issue of police patrols, arrests for petty crimes have gone up by 20%, with immigrant communities being especially hard hit The Alternative Future has shown themselves to be pure ideology with their opposition to this bill. In other words, nothing I didn't expect. Francine Jones, SP Leader |

Message | Well you clearly aren’t a very serious ‘Hosian Bishopal woman’ if you think religious clothing is remotely similar to ‘hats or other frivolous clothing.’ ‘Frivolous’, you said. What an outrageously demeaning and insulting thing to say to the millions of devoutly religious citizens across our nation. ‘I see no problem with, as Mr. Yorke put it, commodifying women's bodies.’ That sentence may explain why female voters have deserted your party in droves. The female body is not a commodity to be used for financial gain, be that via surrogacy, prostitution or any other form. Any attempt to institute the profit motive into surrogacy will lead to exploitation. And you rounded off by making insinuations about our hardworking police officers. As you said yourself, nothing I didn’t expect. Oliver Yorke, Leader of Alternative Future |

Message | The AF claims that women have deserted the Socialist Party in droves, while the AF ironically hardly gets any votes from women. Our country is a progressive one that values social freedoms, so women should be able to access them. Regards, Sebastian Gallagher |
