Message | Breaking News: President Wewecho Pantafloja, who as head of state oversees the Central Bank of Beluzia, recently declared that it is broke, and has an unpayable debt; he declared that he will re-nationalize the banks that he had privatized, with a few exceptions; the exceptions include the National Bank of Beluzia, which reports indicate he owns, when we interviewed him this was his statement: “If no money is infused to it, we will fail to meet our obligations to our international debtors and debt interest will be rising out of control. We have already resorted to taking short term high interest loans from the National Bank of Beluzia. The BEL will devalue again and Beluzia will be in the worst crisis it has ever seen, Mothers won’t be able to buy food for their babies and children won’t be sent to school, couples paying for their rent will see their mortgage interest rise without fold, people will starve, Those who vote against my measure vote against the wellbeing of Beluzia" He made such statements even when the latest reports indicated the Beluzian Central Bank had reserves of over 200 Billion BEL, when asked what happened to them he declared: "We had a hidden debt left by the old government that administered the Central Bank, they were very clever in hiding it" |
