| KAISER OF HULSTRIA - HOUSE OF ROTHINGREN-TRAUGOTT-OKATORI The original ruling House since the colonial era, the House of Rothingren-Traugott-Okatori descends from Franz von Rothingren, the leader of the Hulstrian War of Independence who was proclaimed the first Kaiser of Hulstria in 1650. It has ruled the nation for long consecutive periods of time: the first time a non-Rothingren sat the Imperial Throne was during the Mikuni-Hulstria era, when the House of Yukio-Labsburg usurped the throne. The Second September Revolution returned the Rothingren-Traugotts, now under the name Rothingren-Traugott-Okatori to denote the lineage of the former Imperial Clan of Gao-Soto which had married into the Imperial Family, to the throne under the rule of Kaiser Otto III. After a short Labsburgist takeover and a republic, the Rothingrens were returned under Otto IV. Archduchess Sara of Hulstria MIKADO OF GAO-SOTO - IMPERIAL HOUSE OF KUROSAWA The Kurosawa Clan, or the Imperial House of Kurosawa, was named for its legendary ancestor, the second Okatori monarch of Gao-Soto, Kurosawa the Great. It replaced the Okatori Clan as Imperial Clan of Gao-Soto after the Second September Revolution. This was necessitated by the merger of the Rothingren-Traugott and Okatori lines, which in exile had retained a more Hulstrian character that Otto III felt was not suitable to a ruler of Gao-Soto. At the request of the Kaiser, the Septembrist government set out to find the most senior female-line descendant of Emperor Okatori Akihiko, Nakashima Morihito, a GP from Hilgar, and proclaimed him Mikado and head of the new Imperial Kurosawa Clan, part of the new Okatori phratry.
