Bill: Motto Observance and Translation and Terminology Ordinance (MOTTO) of 4412
Details
Submitted by[?]: New Liberal Party of Hutori
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4412
Description[?]:
This bill would provide for the translation of our national motto: "Quinon proficit deficit" into Luthori and Mashacara for selective use wherever it might appear on government documents, currency, etc. It does not require the motto to be translated, but sets the Luthori and Mashacara translations as "equal to" the original Ancient Selucian and allows their use. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
