Message | Why would someone want to go to a private "chop shop" when they can get their health care for free at a public clinic? We feel this bill over-bureaucratizes an essentially self-regulating area of public life. |

Message | NPMP, public clinics still aren't free. They may be heavily subsidised, but studies show that more and more people are finding even cheaper health "care" at grubby little surgeries who don't operate to any standards, have under-qualified staff, and jeapordise people's lives. An investigation is underway that is finding disturbing evidence that VBS agents are actively trying to turn citizens away from public clinics and into these death-traps. |

Message | And to address VBS's argument, a private company worth having around would be following a standard of health anyway, so decent clinics have nothing to fear from this bill. When people's lives are at stake, what's wrong with telling a company to shape up or shut down? |

Message | Good argument, SLE. I wouldn't have thought of things that way. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
