| The Allthing hereby establishes the Telamon Research Society (TRS). The TRS is a government-funded but independent scientific research organization dedicated to foundational research. The TRS operates research institutes independent of but associated with public universities. Each TRS research institute is dedicated to a specific field constituting national focal points for research. Scientists working in a TRS research institute will give one class in the associated university as well as advise PhD students. TRS scientists have a reduced teaching load and significantly less non-scientific duties compared to university professors, allowing maximum focus on research. The TRS publishes quarterly reports on TRS research. |
