| Message | The UDRC will never support any legislation that discriminates against our citizens because of their gender identity or sexual preference. We believe our adoption system has enough safeguards to select the best parent for a child and sometimes a heterosexual couple could be the worst choice than a gay couple, as many sexual abuse cases in our social services testify. The UDRC will rather have a loving gay couple raising a child than an abusive heterosexual one or keep the child in the system. Only six nations in the globe support that kind of homophobic legislation. However, we can agree to support a change to “Only couples may adopt children,” because a case for two parents better than one can be made. The UDRC does not believe that the government should decide on anyone’s gender identity, on who to marry (we may support the policy that “The government does not involve itself in marriage or civil unions.”), and we will never support the illegalization of homosexuality. I think that a legislative nation comparison will show the PCR that they are on the wrong side of history. |

| Message | After listening to the oposition’s point of view the PCR’s leadership has decided to take down article 4 from the bill, which would’ve made sodomy illegal, as many members of the party see it as too much, however we are going to hold our ground in the following matters: Adoption: we cannot run the risk of homosexual couples turning children into sodomites, on top of that what children really need is a parental and maternal figure, not two dads or two moms, that’s just unatural and wrong. Marriage: marriage is a sacred activity that symbolizes the commitement from both a man and a woman to be together and to love eachother, and as such its wrong to let homosexuals use it, and that’s not even getting into everything that religion says about it. Gender identity: the PCR strictly believes in the prestructured order of society, and as such believers we are against people just inventing new “gender identities”, in many cases for the sake of attention, and try to pretend like there’s something more than just males or females. |
