Message | We propose 65 for the age of retirement |
Date | 10:59:42, July 26, 2018 CET | From | National Union | To | Debating the Workers' Rights (Amendment) Act |
Message | The National Union believes that with rising longevity, a retirement age at 65 will only discourage employment of individuals over that age and lead to longer term unemployment and general lack of sustainability with regards to management of the nation's financial resources over the long run. It in fact, proposes abolishing the retirement age to enable workers who really wish to work to continue working well into their twilight years and allow for their individual choices to shape the way they enter and exit the workforce. |
