| The nation of Jelbania is affected by several roleplay (RP) laws, which outline rules and regulations in the nation beyond those which are enacted through the game mechanics. In accordance with the Game Rules (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8088), Section 6, subsection e, this bill shall be a register of all RP Laws in effect in Jelbania. This bill should not be removed from the "Bills Under Debate" section. • RP LAW: Rklemjistad Summit System (Constitution): http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=578291 ↳ Closely tied with an in-game treaty (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=4183), this outlines the manner in which the Great Confederation is organized. Specifically, it indicates that Jelbania is, after the stipulations of the Rklemjistad Agreement (see below), a dramatically decentralized nation, where the Confederal States are largely left to handle internal matters without interference from the central government, and the central government is responsible for all foreign affairs. • Rklemjistad Agreement: http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=4176 ↳ This treaty ended a devastating conflict in Jelbania, and had broad effects upon the nation. Prior to the agreement, Jelbania was split into several independent nations (the Northern Khaganate and the Katonid Khanate foremost among them, and backed by Vanuku and Deltaria, respectively). The agreement brought these separate nations into the Great Jelbek Confederation and established relations with Jelbania's two powerful neighbors. |
