| Cecilio Barzetti, Prime Minister, Honorable Deputies, As promised, we want to deliver the people a choice regarding our membership in this organization which we, the PND, believe has done nothing for Istalia except causing a nationwide recession not seen in decades. The other parties in government, even if not agreeing with our stance believe a referendum is fair. Hence if this bill passes with a 50% majprity a non-binding referendum on Istalia's membership in the Union will take place during the next elections. Thank you for giving people a voice! Ooc: Rules like always, please if you want a referendum to occur please vote yes and write the percentage of your total vote in the next election which will be in favor/against. This will be non legally binding so the next govt. Could potentially disregard the results. |
