Message | leaving them to get evicted onto the street by greedy landlords is worse. and it wouldnt' be a problem were it not for the right wing NIMBY movement. How about this to address your fear: 6a) Public housing shall be geographically spread throughout populated areas. |

Message | We would prefer subsities for the poorest element. Spread them out amoung the middle class areas. They must be helped, yes. But "loaning" them a building is not the answer. Just look at the "Projects" of Deltaria. |
Date | 19:42:49, March 18, 2006 CET | From | Revolutionary Freedom Party -- KEG SLAM | To | Debating the Well-Being and Potential Act pt. 1 |
Message | There is no reason to compare Kalistan to Deltaria The situation is completely different. THe "projects" of Deltaria are a cross between labor camps and interrment camps. There has to be some way to keep landlords from repeatedly evicting government assisted tennants. |

Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand |
