MessageThe Free Liberals are taking the unpopular conservative route and attempting to corrupt our government and country by privatizing all of these industries. Then again, it is expected of them. A hard no from the Greens, and we plead with the Royalists to do the same. This is an absolutely disgusting bill that, if passed, will set Lourenne back many years.

MessageWe do agree with the Greens we cannot accept a majority of the bills, however, we agree with some of them and we are in the process of constructing a party platform that we hope will be accepted by both parties.

...if you could clarify that'd be great, since it's really tough to roleplay when you have no idea whether other people are roleplaying or making OOC comments. cheers!

IC: I would like to personally challenge any Free Liberal representative to justify their claim that we are "corrupt" or "communist". I have no idea how the FLL can claim to be liberal when they continuously attempt to privatize and deregulate all industries.

MessageIC: I don't understand Mrs. Trippletts problem.
First thing, she confirmed that we are Liberals, as we are trying to liberalise the economy.
Second thing, communism is when everything belongs to the state, and that is what the greens want.
The third thing is, that it's easier to bribe government officials, who have all power, than businessmen, who earned their money through smart work.
The final thing is, that communism doesn't work for the society, meaning than communists are either stupid, idealists or corrupt.

MessageUnfortunately, the "Liberals" are completely misguided here.
"Liberalization" of the economy doesn't constitute liberalism, it simply entails supporting a laissez-faire market, which, without regulation, just doesn't work.
The Greens don't support communism or full state ownership of private industry; rather, we believe that banks and public defense should be nationalized, which leaves all other industries private, just subject to regulation to maintain a fair market.
We have never been and will never be "bribed", and whatever ridiculous claim they have made about businessmen being less prone to bribes does not at all defend their (also ridiculous) claim that the Greens are "corrupt".
And, for the last time, we are not communists.
Finally, I'd like to point out that the "Liberals" are lacking in respect for the other parties in the chamber that they have yet to notice how to spell my name.

MessageOOC: The Minority can't have control of the speaker. Just because the FLL is the largest party, the Green-Royalist coalition makes up the majority voting bloc, thus it would control the speaker.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
