Bill: Food Licensing Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (보수당)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4445

Description[?]:

Dear Colleagues,
Currently, anyone can sell food as long as it is in date. Whilst this seems beneficial, it does not necessarily mean it is safe and ethical. We have had complaints by customers from some independent food shops including 'Huang Food' that food is not being packed properly and customers are getting ripped of on basic items

To provide more control to cut out this malicious behaviour, we propose that food can only be sold by licensed vendors as a way to provide trust and confidence for customers

Gordon Roon
Minister of Food and Agriculture
