Voting deadline: May 4447
Description[?]:
OOC: ACTUALLY READ THIS PLEASE I would like to explain my tax plan here I will defend It in the comments 1. The brackets were broken into higher and lower brackets with 65,000 being the middle and in neither group. 2. The tax plan is broken up into two taxes A. A tax based on a logisticle curve I used 0 and 90 as the asymptotes I started with 5 percent and multiplied by the 3 every 20000 HRL of income for the lower brackets and then reversed the graph for the higher brackets. Example of a logisticle curve: https://www.quantics.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/4PL-symmetrical-curve-1.png B. A tax based on a flat rate, every person was taxed 5 percent if they made 25000 or more. 3. Because the tax is based on a curve only people who make exactally 25,000 are taxed the minimum 10 percent amount and someone who makes 32000 HRL is taxed at a higher rate than someone who makes 31000 HRL 4. I will speak with the minister of defence to see how much of a budget cut he can handle and the rest will come from an increased luxury goods tax 5. The government will now tell citizens how much they owe in income tax. This is not expected to cost the ministry of finance any extra because it will remove the need to hunt down people that over or under paid. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Because this bill illustrates major reform I will leave it open to debate until after the election. Also I would like to make one thing clear. This does not make the tax system any more complicated. Before the bill you would see what tax bracket you were in after calculating your income. In the current system, the government gets your income from your imployer and tells you how much you owe. This is in fact far less complicated than the previous system. Message | OOC: Can you please explain what 'I started with 5 percent and multiplied by the 3 every 20000 HRL of income for the lower brackets' means? By the 3 of what exactly? |

Message | OOC: Basically Its two curves that meet at 65,000, so the tax percentage increases the most close to 65,000 and least far away from 65,000 HRL |

Message | Mr Speaker, These tax reforms are much more complex than they need to be. One of the first agenda items for this new government will be to implement a much more simplified tax system. Dylan Jourdain MP for Fairview Prosperity Chancellor of the Commonwealth of Hutori |
