Message | You may not like religion, and you have every right to that. However, these missionaries from other nations have every right to come to Hutori and speak to those willing to hear. This is part of religious freedom. These missionaries have the right to practice their religion, and some religions include a responsibility to spread it, most notably Christianity. While many, including yourselves, dislike religion and do not like missionaries proselytizing, then you have the right to not listen to the missionaries. However, you do not have the right to restrict others' right to listen to the missionaries and possibly convert to their religion. While I myself am agnostic (OOC: Chairwoman Inglessa is, I am not.), I respect anyone and everyone's rights to free practice of religion, including others from outside Hutori to do such within the nation. |
