| The Diplomacy Act shall provide the government the ability to impose economic and diplomatic sanctions on aggressive or hostile states. The government and people of Dowlat-e Aldegar desire only work together as equals with other nations towards the goal of mutual prosperity, however we must have cause to act to defend our values and our territory. The continued use of the styling 'Shah of Aldegar' by the monarch of the Holy Luthori Empire is a challenge to the constitutional status of our nation and a challenge to the legitimate and sovereign government in Pāytakht-e Aldegār. Should the Imperial Diet in Fort William not renounce the claim and recognise Aldegar as a free and independent Republic we must have the option of using alternative diplomatic means to achieve change. |
