Message | We can support article 1, as national defense is clearly a necessary function of the federal government. Waste, however, is not. Indeed, the collection, disposal and recovery of waste products is a very lucrative, commercially viable enterprise. For this reason, we must oppose article 2. |

Message | 1) Expencive, will force a decrease in the size of the standing military. 2) Violation of civil rights. Completely against. |

Message | New article 1? Slit your throat. It won't bring in any signifigant tax revenue, price of everything's going to jump like crazy. So let's see, you want to raise taxes on the populace, giving them less money, you want to raise corporate taxes so they'll turn around and raise their prices to maintain their margins. No wonder you want to offer welfare! Nobody will be able to live with the hellish economic situation you'd create. New article 4: No laws where there need be none. Governments serve their citizens. Last I heard you couldn't hire a 'give me money' service. |

Message | Now i Really like article two but really dislike article 1. I think my pacifist leaning is going to win out here. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
