The Government of Prime Minister Hana Pastora de Santiago has issued an official order declaring that the Nine Tail Agency is to no longer be recognized as the state intelligence agency. It is to be stripped of its budgetary funding and all levels of security clearances.

The Ministry of Defense will hereby establish an informal, acting department to oversee state intelligence until a new agency is established under the ministry. The goal of this order is to establish a neutral intelligence agency that acts on the behalf of the interests of the state as a whole and not that of specific groups, organizations, or ideologies.
