Message | You want kids to be able to watch porn. Seems a little messed up. |
Date | 17:24:48, September 20, 2018 CET | From | Alliance | To | Debating the Equality and Commerce Bill |
Message | While the BPLA agrees with some of these proposals we're not supportive of others, we vote no |
Date | 18:00:28, September 20, 2018 CET | From | Unsubmissive Beluzian Workers Party | To | Debating the Equality and Commerce Bill |
Message | While we support pornography viewing, we cannot allow underage children to be exposed to full frontal nudity and thinking that what they view is what real sex should be. We furthermore do not believe that campaigns should have funding from the government or political action committees associated with a party, as that corrupts democracy. We do not believe that Parliament should be increased to 750 seats. Doing so would only increase the bureaucracy and gridlock in Parliament. We will vote No |

Message | We will abstain. |

Message | The article on Pornography does not mean we encourage the consumption of pornography by minors. We only mean to allow all residents of Beluzia to be able to consume whatever media they desire. Whether or not the demographic consuming pornography is minors or not is up to the parents. We also intend to limit religious organizations ability to argue against sexual education by claiming it is pornography. For parties fighting for “freedom”, many of the objectors seem to be forgetting their values. |

Message | To address the UBWP, whether children are educated on the realism or lack thereof of pornographic acts is up to parents, not the government. Public funding for campaigns will give all parties a platform to run on, making sure they are not reliant on wealthy or corporate donors. Finally, 750 seats in the congress will increase representation of Beluzian citizens when coupled with equal representation for each region. There is no reason to abstain, as this bill is solely in the interest of the rights of the people. |
