Description[?]:
The changes this bill proposes will serve to improve the stability of the military and the military industrial complex which supplies our troops. Article 1: The changing of this bill allows us to maintain a consistent standard of prisoner treatment. The current value can be changed to easily because it i a law that can be tilted by the government be it in the favor of good treatment or bad. Article 2: This is a simple change to the military which would discourage open homosexuality in the military. By implementation of a don't ask don't tell policy we can allow soldiers with homosexual beliefs and those that are against homosexuality to serve side by side with no aggression from either side. Allows a more united military force. Article 3: This is to increase the private sector and too bring in new forms of weapons, body armor, and vehicles to be proposed to the government and for the government to propose contracts for projects the government may want completed. This will give a large pool of companies to choose from at good prices. Article 4: The use of land mines must come to a end. Land mines are made to kill individuals that step on or in the vicinity of them and made to be hidden from those that may be searching for them with a expiration date that can be many years after they are placed. This can become a problem for civilians during and after the war. By stopping this practice we can hopefully save many innocent lives. Article 5: By changing this we allow individuals to carve there own path after schooling and to maintain a fully professional voluntary fighting force for the nation, but we will keep a draft system in times of war when manpower maybe needed. Article 6: Paramilitaries should be allowed to exist, but should not be made apart of the nations armed forces. Bill proposed by James Lamb |
