Bill: The Restoration of the Holy Faith Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Enlightenment Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4459
Description[?]:
My Hutori Friends, Over the long and proud history of our Commonwealth, and indeed of our empire, we have endured many hardships and many triumphs, and through all of these, our religion has managed to unite our people together. We have a population diverse in culture and ethnicity, but our one Faith and our one God acts as the thread that holds the fabric of our nation together. However, as time has gone by, the power of the one true faith over all of our citizens has been unfortunately waning, and with the decline of our nation will undoubtedly come the decline of our Commonwealth. These articles I have put forward here will renew this binding thread of faith, and help to further unify our proud Commonwealth. Though I am confident that all among our ranks are Luthori Faithful, take careful notice that this bill does not *require* anything from anybody, rather it simply makes our most holy religion easier to grow and prosper in our nation. The faithless will need to pray not, and for the faithful, prayer is encouraged and recommended in order to strengthen our bonds of Hutori fellowship. |

Message | I see no reason why anybody is voting against the bill. Could it be that the Liberal National Party and the Free Democrats do not support liberalism and rights but rather the implementation of state-sponsored atheism? I would once more make it clear that there is nothing in this bill that requires any sort of action on the part of the people, it simply makes worship for our faithful easier. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
