Message | I would like to see the central bank eliminated entirely. However, I doubt any of the leftist parties would vote for that, therefore I propose for the central bank to be independent of the government. This will limit corruprion and inefficient governemnt interference. |

Message | Mr Speaker... we advise our friends in the NCP that Congress moved legislation to eliminate the central bank through the Brightman-Hamilton Act (Repeal) bill. This legislation passed quite comfortably with the help of our colleagues on the far-left. Unfortunately the continued existence of "OOC/RP: Federal Reserve" and the Brightman-Hamilton Act currently listed as active RP law on the pending bills page may have contributed to the confusion. Important Documents: Brightman Hamilton Act (Repeal) (4445) http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=579507 (ooc: this raises an interesting point. Can existing RP law be repealed simply by changing the game law? Thus rendering RP law pointless? Or does the RP law stand as fact until it is repealed regardless of game law proposed and passed? In which case the game law becomes pointless (except for party positioning). |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
